Thank You Letter!

Today we received a thank you letter from the Boys & Girls Club.  The letter reads:

"This letter is written to thank you for your continuous support in the Boys & Girls Club movement.  You can be assured that your donations are being utilized to support our kids in the educational and recreational activities in the Clubs.

OUR MISSION:  To enable all young people, expecially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Again, please accept our hearfelt thanks for your generous donations and your continuous support.  We are so excited how far we have come and where we plan on going this year, and we look forward to all the continuing fun and adventures the Club and its youth provides.  Thank you again for all your support!  It is becasue of the support of committed organizations and individuals within our community that the Boys & Girls Clubs thrive.  Thank you!

Utah Golf Tournament

Last Friday we had our 3rd annual Focus Golf Tournament.  We lucked out and had pretty good weather.  The rain came a few hours later!  Thanks for all who came out to play, it was a good time!

Trunk or Treat

This years annual Utah Trunk or Treat will be held on Friday October 29th at 6pm.  It will be at the ROY location.  All employees are invited to come and bring their kids.  There will be prizes for decorating your cars, costumes, and creativity!!  Please come and be prepared to have some fun!  The more the merrier and all employees and families of the employees are welcome.  Don't forget to bring a TREAT to share from your TRUNKS!!

Midwest Trunk or Treat info soon to come!!  It will probably be held at each site individually since they aren't as close together.  Please ask your recruiter for information until it gets posted!!

Scholarship Winners!!

Congratulations are in order for this years Scholarship Winners!!

In the Midwest the Winner of the Focus Four Run Scholarship worth $3000 was Linsey Saddoris.  The other two winners were  Shane Wallace and Chanelle Sanchez.

In Utah the Focus Four Run Scholarship winner worth $3000 was Preston Tensmeyer.  The other winners were Steven Pearce, Landon Rich and Travis Brown.

We want to thank everyone who was involved with this year’s scholarship process.

Thanks everyone for coming out to support this great event.  This was our second annual Focus Four Run in the midwest.  It was held on August 7th, 2010 and we really do appreciate all the hard work it took from everyone to put it together and make it so successful.  Thank you to our volunteers and thank you to everyone who came and had such a fun time!!
