Focus Helps Japan after Tsunami

Focus Services donated money to help Japan clean up after the tsunami and help all those that survived.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those families that may have lost someone during this tragic event.  We hope that they will be able to get things restored back to a functional society soon!!

Saveology Summit

In March of 2010, we launched a ten seat pilot with Saveology. Now, a year later, we have grown the project 700% and are currently their only U.S. vendor with plans to double by the end of 2011. Because of our stellar performance, Focus was asked to be a key sponsor at the Saveology Summit ’11. This was a great opportunity and we were excited to get and present our services for companies like Google, COX, Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, and Time Warner Cable to name a few (not to mention it was held at Miami Beach, Florida so that doesn’t hurt either).

We were able to spend a great deal of time learning more about our partner Saveology and their plans for 2011 and beyond. They are a perfect partner for us. They believe in being aggressive with growth, driving sales, and having fun at work (did I mention this was in Miami Beach?). 

We sponsored the second night Bonfire which was hosted by Season 1 winner of The Apprentice Bill Rancic and his wife E! personality Giuliana. It was a fun night where we were able to spend time discussing growth options with two smaller companies that specialize in the Multi Dwelling Unit space.

Last, we were able to listen to the President and COO of the Florida Panthers Michael Yormark. He spoke to us about the importance of teamwork and partners. He said “We accomplish nothing by ourselves. If we are together, nothing is impossible. If we divided, all will fail.” This is an important principle we can all apply to our business.

Above all, it was a very successful visit. We know we will be able to continue to grow with Saveology as well as grow with new partners. The best part is, the only reason we can present so well is because of the incredible numbers coming from Steve Scott and the rest of the Saveology team in Central Ogden. They are really getting it done.

Training Certification

Last week we sent two employees out to training certification in Denver Colorado.  We are pleased to say that both employees did such a great job!  Congratulations to both Monica Villasenor from our Roy site and Rebecca Facio from our Clinton site for becoming certified trainers!! 

Ogden Employees - FREE POPCORN

If you work in the Ogden Site don't forget to head up to the break room.  We will be giving out free popcorn all day to celebrate our new microwave!  Thanks for all that you do there!!!  You are all great employees!!!!
